Sharon Barksdale is a founding member of the Barksdale Law Firm, founded in 1980 with her husband Gordon Barksdale. Her legal career started in 1972 as a legal secretary, where she worked for several different legal offices while she was attending Atlanta Law School at night. Sharon is a Member in Good Standing with the State Bar of Georgia, as a member of the Family Law section. In her spare time she enjoys serving the community with the Kiwanis club, quilting and crocheting, reading, and is a member of the Crosspoint Christian Church in Conyers, GA.
